Study of communication (including motivation, perception, language, distortions, organizations, listening) and its role in the administrative process; patterns of mis-communications (such as by-passing, deception, generalizations, association, labeling) are examined for better understanding of communication process and to improve organizational environment; consideration given to psychological impact of various communications media. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
