Prerequisite: MOS 110, and acceptance into the Medical Office Specialist Clinical program. Understanding and use of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding and classification systems in the assignment of diagnostic and procedure codes. This course is a continuation of MOS 110. The laboratory component reinforces lecture and includes practice in coding in-patient and out-patient records.
