Corequisite or prerequisite: MATH 129. This course is an introduction to construction contracting as it applies to typical, every-day situations and explains "theoretical" ideas in terms of what really happens in practice. The course emphasizes the more common case law holdings and industry customs that help avoid troublesome legal issues during the completion of a project. Course will demonstrate how information is gathered from documents with speed and accuracy.
