4 credit hours Introduction to C# .NET (pronounced C-sharp dot NET), an object-oriented, Graphical User Interface .NET programming language. Designed to introduce the .NET platform, the .NET Framework Library, C# control structures, methods, arrays, object-oriented programming, graphical user interface, strings, regular expressions, graphics, files, streams and data base access. Emphasis is on building the foundation necessary to understand the capabilities of the C# programming language and the skills to develop Internet and World-Wide-Web based client/server applications. Prerequisite: Computer Information Systems 1510 or 2541 or consent of instructor (4 lecture hours)
