Topics include: Local Area Network (LAN) architecture, basic switch concepts and configuration, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) design and configuration, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP), inter-VLAN routing, basic wireless concepts and configuration. Prerequisite: Computer and Internetworking Technologies 1122 with a grade of "C" or better, or equivalent (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
