3 credit hours An introductory exploration of specific peoples and cultures in different areas of the world today, focusing on interaction between a people's culture and their environmental, societal and historical conditions. The peoples and cultures studied will be of different levels of complexity. Separate course sections focus on different world areas and may have different themes.
