3 credit hours Introduction to basic sculptural materials, tools, equipment, processes, and concepts associated with steel sculpture. Large-scale installation or site-specific sculpture will be investigated in group activities. An informed context will be provided by the study of the work of current and historic sculptors. Studio safety will be considered at all times. Prerequisite: Art 1101 and Art 2231 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent (6 lab hours)
