Prerequisite: AC 177 (Accounting I). Managerial Accounting furnishes students with a sound understanding of the accounting data necessary to manage a business and make sound business decisions. This course introduces the student to managerial accounting and includes product and job costing, job-order costing, process costing, cost behavior, cost-volume-profit relationships, variable costing, activity-based costing, budgeting and variance analysis, relevant costs, and capital budgeting.
