Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra or MA177 (Intermediate Algebra). College Algebra is a terminal course in the study of Algebra. It extends upon and polishes the skills developed in first and second year high school Algebra (Beginning and Intermediate Algebra). Topics of study include equations and inequalities, the Cartesian 'x-y' plane and graphs, functions, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equation and inequalities.(Offered each semester)
