This is a continued study of diatonic harmony, secondary triads and inversions and secondary seventh chords and inversions. Special emphasis is given to non-harmonic tones. Expanded work with cadenses, part-writing procedures from figured bass symbols or given melodies and harmonizations or original diatonic melodies are included. Appropriate scores, including those from performing groups, are analyzed. (Offered spring semester)
