Prerequisite: RT102 (Introduction to Broadcast Journalism). This class offers students the opportunity to apply the theory and skills they learned during the introductory course in a more project oriented environment. Under the guidance of the instructor the student will complete news writing projects assigned by the television news department. The student will face a wider range of news gathering challenges including the live interview techniques, long-form feature production and investigative reporting. (Offered every semester)
