This course includes three hours of lecture and 1.5 hours of laboratory per week. This is a survey of pertinent life characteristics to provide students with relevant material that will enable them to perceive the need for continued questioning of present ecological practices, keeping abreast of biological advances that directly affect their lives and future explorations in biological research regarding philosophical/political implications.
