Prerequisite: RT156 (Introduction to Electronic News Gathering (ENG)). Students have the opportunity to apply the theory and skills they learned in Introduction to ENG in a project oriented environment. Under the guidance of the instructor the student will complete shooting projects assigned by the television news department. The course provides intensive hands-on experience under actual newsroom deadline pressure. The course also provides advanced theory on lighting, composition, movement, shot selection, editing and post production techniques as they apply to news operations. (Offered spring semester)
