BRCC prerequisites: ETR 143 and ETR 114. Studies noise, information and bandwidth, modulation and demodulation, transmitters and receivers, wave propagation, antennas and transmission lines. May include broad band communication systems, microwave, both terrestrial and satellite, fiber optics, multiplexing and associated hardware. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
