(Meets MnTC Goal 6) Prerequisite: Spanish 2201 or consent of the instructor Survey of modern literature in Hispanic countries with major writers of prose and poetry representing various countries, including Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Puerto Rico, as well as selected Central and South American nations. Introduces students to each of the major genres - the short story, drama, poetry, the novel and the essay. Intended for students who have completed Spanish 2201. The readings and class discussion are in Spanish.
