(Cross-listed as HUM 2200) Takes students to Sweden to observe firsthand both ancient and modern components of Swedish civilization, including Sweden's relationship with the other Scandinavian nations. When offered as a study tour, a classroom segment precedes the trip, covering such items as the history and geography of the areas to be visited and cultural differences to be experienced. No knowledge of Swedish is required.
