(Meets MnTC Goals 1 and 2) The small group has become the most common setting for speech communication. Therefore, communication within the small task-oriented group is studied as it relates to cohesiveness, leadership, role structures, communication networks, decision-making, and analysis of questions of fact, value and policy. The course is designed to help the student become a more effective communicator, both as a leader and as a participant in small group communication.
