Prerequisites: NURS 1180, NURS 1181, NURS 1182, BIOL 2113, MATH 0110 or equivalent test-out Co requisite: NURS 1280, NURS 1282, BIOL 2114. This course expands student understanding of the phenomena affecting functional, physiologic, psychosocial and environmental health within a holistic model of care. Emphasis is on promoting, protecting, and restoring health in adults experiencing illness, linking the pathophysiologic processes to nursing management.
