Prerequisite: MATH 0200 with a grade of C or better, appropriate score on math placement test, or equivalent Prepares students to take any mathematics course numbered above 1000. It is a review and continuation of Math 0200. Topics include an introduction to linear and quadratic functions; exponents; polynomial, rational, and radical expressions; solutions of linear, quadratic, rational, exponential, radical and logarithmic equations; inequalities; properties of circles; solid geometric shapes; area; volume; and an introduction to right triangle trigonometry.
