Keyboarding ability of 25 words per minute is recommended. BUS 1153 may be taken the same semester Designed for individuals who have limited or no previous experience with personal computers. Students will develop a significant comfort level in utilizing the P.C. for personal or home use in accessing the Internet, communicating via e-mail, creating documents with word processing, spreadsheet and database software and understanding common computer terminology. Homework requires the use of on-campus computer labs or a home computer running the course-specific software.
