This course is strongly recommended as a first class for those with no previous integrative health and healing experience. This course gives students an overview and foundation of the field of integrative health and healing. Students will explore the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit of the human system as well as healing through social, cultural, environmental and global perspectives of healing. Students will also discuss and evaluate emerging trends in holistic health and the complexities around current healthcare models.
