(Meets MnTC Goal 4) Prerequisite: MATH 0210 or MATH 0220 with a grade of C or better, a required score on a math placement test, or equivalent Designed for students who need a practical under-standing of elementary statistics. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, normal and binomial distributions, elementary hypothesis testing, chi-squared and t-tests, correlation, and linear regression. Students will also learn how to use a statistical software package.
