Explores ways of transitioning from student to employment as a beginning surgical technologist in the operating suite. Skills necessary for successful employment are reinforced and opportunities for personal and professional growth are stressed. Explores basic principles of physics, robotics and electricity, how they relate to today's surgical environment and how they may be used in surgeries in the future. Prerequisite: Concurrent registration in SGT 129 Clinical Experience II. * Prerequisite course for Surgical Technology program.
