Provides instruction in the advanced skills of assembly, using set standards, safety issues, use of common aircraft sheetmetal tools, sealant application, math and aircraft blueprint reading. Students learn to identify fasteners, install and remove fasteners, assemble sheetmetal components and identify and maintain proper "skin" quality. Repair techniques and themore difficult applicable skills for aviation manufacturing are the focus of this course. Students receive classroom instruction and demonstration as well as shop demonstration and performance.
