An introduction to industrial safety from a holistic approach rather than individual safety rules for individual occupational area. A concentration on the development of a safe attitude as related to such topics as technology changes, new and existing hazards, health and safety regulations, ethics, and cooperate responsibilities as well as individual responsibilities, philosophies related to product safety and a basic understanding of a safety program. Not available for credit except through an active Western Oklahoma State College Cooperative or Alliance Agreement. ( 3 credit hours, 48 lecture hours, 0 lab hours)
