This includes beginning composition; analysis of four-part chorales; instrumental, vocal, and piano music from Baroque and early Classical periods. Advanced keyboard theory is also included. (LAS) (3 credit hours, 48 lecture hours, 0 lab hours) MUSI 1531 Aural Skills I Designed to improve musical skills as related to melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic dictation, sight reading and keyboard harmony.
