Presents clinical opportunities for the student to meet the competencies required on an EMT-I. Students work in various hospitals departments and on an MICU ambulance, where they provide patient care. Students must be able to communicate with multiple agencies, have leadership qualities, and be able to perform treatments. Students must be professional and high medical ethic standards. This course is not available for credit except through an active Western Oklahoma State College Cooperative Agreement. ( 2 credit hours, 0 lecture hours, 96 clinical hours)
