This course will acquaint students with differences in WAN services: LAPB, Frame Relay, ISDN/LAPD, HDLC, PPP, and DDR; configuration and monitoring for Frame Relay; PPP operations to encapsulate WAN data on Cisco routers; ISDN protocols, function groups, reference points, and channels; and Cisco?s implementation of ISDN BRI. This course is not available for credit except through an active Western Oklahoma State College Cooperative Agreement. Prerequisite: BCIS 2483 (3 credit hours, 48 lecture hours, 0 lab hours)
