Introductory course in the application of microcomputers in the agricultural environment. Students will develop a management system in some aspect of the farm or ranch enterprise. Students will learn to use basic microcomputer programs to make spreadsheets, cash flow statements, and budgets. The use of the worldwide web to market agricultural products and services will also be covered. The student will exit the course with an understanding of how to effectively incorporate computers in an agricultural business. (3 credit hours, 48 lecture hours, 0 lab hours)
