Prerequisite: None Th is course is a study of the basic fundamentals of Western Music Th eory. Th e course is designed as a precursor to the existing two-year Music Th eory courses, the Elementary Music Education course, or further music study. Emphasis will be upon basic diatonic harmony, music composition and the development of aural skills through lecture, sight singing and outside projects and music performance.
