Prerequisite: INFO-2431 Th is course teaches students, through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, textbook exercises and classroom labs, the skills and knowledge necessary to help prepare them to take Microsoft certifi cation exam 70-293: Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure and to become a Microsoft Certifi ed Professional (MCP) or a Microsoft Certifi ed Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Th e course is intended for anyone who wants to learn how to install, confi gure, administer and support the primary networking services in the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system, as well as for those individuals seeking Microsoft certifi cation. Th e course begins by examining basic TCP/IP networking concepts. Subsequent chapters are devoted to core Windows Server 2003 networking services, such as Domain Name System (DNS), Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) and Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) and to network security technologies succh as digital certifi cates and the IP security (IPSec) extensions.
