Prerequisite: HIMS-1250 HIMS-1500 HIMS-2250 Co-requisite(s): HIMS-2330 Th e course is designed to help the student gain the entry-level competencies as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association . Student will perform the basic functions and tasks of a health information management department. Th e student will use actual health records in a health care facility ant the virtual lab to perform these functions and tasks.
