An overview of many of the "isms" of twentieth-centuryclassical music (impressionism, serialism, etc.), the course includes a large composition component. Th e use of Finale music-notation soft ware will also be aught. Keyboard application, sight singing and dictation are not included in this class, but are included in the accompanying lab.
