Prerequisite: None Home Technology Integration is a vendorneutral course to the networking technologies, audio visual systems, automation methods and telecommunications techniques that converge in integrated home technology. Th is course prepares the student for the CompTIA HTI+ exams, which are a new standard for technicians who design, install and maintain home technology systems. Th is course opens with an overview of home technology and its benefi ts and then introduces business networks and the network technologies developed for home application. Hands-on projects are provided to give the student practical experience in the installation, wiring and confi guration of actual equipment used in HTI technologies. (3/30/45/0/0/4)
