Prerequisite: ACFS-0050W or Writing Placement Exam and ACFS-0060R or Reading Placement Exam Th is course is designed to provide the student with a broad overview of the library and information science profession. Content includes a history of libraries and introduction to the various types of libraries, procedures and tools. Students will be introduced to the vocabulary, literature and professional association of the fi eld.
