Prerequisite: None Th is course is centered on the First Connections online curriculum for Infant and Toddler care jointly developed by the Nebraska Department of Education, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Nebraska Educational Telecommunications. It consists of fi ve online modules: Safe and Supportive Environments, Relationships and Responsive Interaction, Learning and Development, Relationships with Families and Professionalism and Program Management. Th e goals of the course are to: impact the quality of care for infants and toddlers, increase the knowledge base of providers who care for infants and toddlers, increase the continuity of care for infants and toddlers, increase the feeling of professionalism of infant and toddler care providers and strengthen the partnership between parents and caregivers.
