Prerequisite: None Th is course is divided into three sections. Th e fi rst section reviews fundamental arithmetic operations. Th e aim of this section is to develop speed and accuracy in performing these operations. Th e second section is on the use of equations and formulas; the emphasis in this section is on the percentage formula in solving business problems. In the third section, the concepts developed in the fi rst two sections are applied to the study of commissions and bank reconciliation statements. Th is is an open-entry/ open-exit course off ered through the Independent Learning and Assessment Center. Hours to be arranged. **Credit will not be given for BSTC-1470, BSTC- 1480 and BSTC-1490 if BSTC-1500 has been taken. (1/15/0/0/0/V)
