Prerequisite: ELEC-1150 Th is course is a study of the characteristics of active devices and the analysis of electronic circuits. Th e course includes amplifi er frequency response, operational amplifi ers, op-amp frequency response, stability and compensation, basic op-amp frequency response, stability and compensation, basic opamp applications, oscillators, active fi lters, voltage regulators, half-wave and full-wave rectifi ers, power supplies, fi ltering, controls, thyristors, unijunction transistors and optoelectronic devices. Th e laboratory sessions include practical experience in constructing electronic circuits from diagrams, component identifi cation and the use of electronic test equipment and electronic safety.
