Prerequisite: ACFS-0060R or Reading Placement Exam Th is course provides a basis for understanding the ways people live and leave their impact on the surface of the earth. Th e geographic perspective, emphasizing spatial organization, ecology and the character of places, provides a unique perspective for understanding many of our current problems. A key goal for this course is to develop an awareness, understanding and appreciation of the cultural diff erences found in our world today, as well as the close relationship and interdependence among the people and cultures of the world.
