Prerequisite: None Th is is a comprehensive study of corrosion cause, control of and preventative maintenance procedures in order to control this maintenance problem within the aircraft . We have many fl uid lines and fi ttings and many types of manufacturers. Again, we must maintain, fabricate and replace these lines periodically and in an airworthy manner. Aircraft are manufactured, maintained and fl own under Federal Aviation Regulations within the Department of Transportation. Th e Aviation Maintenance Technician must do research, comprehend and comply with these federal aviation regulations to maintain a safe and airworthy aircraft . Today's modern aircraft have very sophisticated communication, navigation and radar systems which the Aviation Maintenance Technician must maintain and check on a regular basis. Th e theory and maintenance procedures are taught during this course of study. (6/60/90/0/0/10)
