Prerequisite: EMTL-1120 Th is is the second part of the EMT-Basic course. Th e knowledge and skills learned in EMT-Basic 1 will be the foundation for the more complex knowledge and skills to be learned in EMT-Basic 2. Topics covered include Advanced Airway, Glucose Monitoring, Monitoring a Non-medicated IV, Trauma, Infants and Children and Operations. Practice skills labs will also be conducted. Upon successful completion of EMT-Basic 2, the student will be eligible to sit for the National Registry exam. (6.5/75/69/0/0/V)
