Prerequisite: None Th is course is an in-depth study of special fasteners, repair techniques and preparation procedures for dissimilar materials. Th e student will inspect and evaluate types of repairs permitted using the correct aircraft structures repair manual. Th e correct selection of tools, equipment and materials will result in a return to service repair. Th e student with reference to aircraft maintenance data will practice the laying out of registration numbers, preparation for and the use of the correct paint. Th e care, repair and inspection of aircraft windows and door seals will be studied. Inspection, service and repair of ice and rain control systems will complete this course of study.
