Prerequisite: DRAF-2300 Th e advanced AutoCAD 3 course explores the threedimensional viewing and construction capabilities of AutoCAD 2000 for Windows. Topics covered include a review of point coordinate entry; X, Y and Z fi lters; and the User Coordinate System (USC). Spherical and cylindrical coordinate entry, 3D viewing options, 3D geometry construction, surface mesh, region and solid modeling are also introduced. Using paper space, model space and multiple viewports for 3D constructions is covered. Creating presentation graphics using bitmap fi les, shading and rendering are also discussed. (3/45/30/0/0/5)
