Prerequisite: None Th is is a course that is devoted to the theory and principles of operation, diagnosis of system component failure and selecting the correct repair procedure using applicable FARs and manufacturers guidelines. Other topics to be covered include principles of operation of engine electrical systems, instruments, operation of engine instruments and electrical systems. Th e components, types, controls and wiring systems are covered along with wiring diagrams and using multi-meters to diagnose system or component failure. Instruction on propeller theory, governing systems, ice protection, maintenance and repair are included in this course. (6/60/90/0/0/10)
