Prerequisite: None Th is is a course directed toward developing the competence necessary to maintain, troubleshoot and repair both reciprocating/turbine engine ignition systems and starting systems. Th e student will study low and high tension ignition systems, repair magnetos and ignition harnesses, test spark plugs, use the appropriate manuals and test equipment to perform these functions. Th e ignition system will be properly installed on an operational engine, which the student will start and operate. Correct troubleshooting procedures will be observed. Maintenance data and parts replacement must be correct. (3/30/45/0/0/10)
