Prerequisite: Admission into the AD-N program. Concurrent enrollment in ADNR-1115 and ADNR- 1130, or instructor consent. Th is course is an introduction to basic nursing concepts and skills. Utilizing the nursing process and Watson's Th eory of Human Caring, students learn the specifi c concepts needed in the planning of nursing care addressing a client's cognitive, interpersonal, psychomotor skills, psychosocial and developmental needs, protection, safety and basic physiologic needs.
