Prerequisite: ARTS-1550 Th is course is an overview of a wide range of printmaking techniques with a closer introduction to three: Monotype, Woodblock Printing and Linocut. Th e emphasis of the course is on learning the principles and developing and mastering basic techniques, with attention to the design of the composition. Th e approach includes working both from objective reality and subjective imagination. As a matter of policy, the Art Department reserves the right to retain any work it deems worthy for the purpose of exhibition until the end of the academic year. (3/45/0/0/0/3)
