The role of the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician in each of these settings will be studied. Discussion topics include ethical, legal, and professional issues. Emphasis is placed on pharmacy standards and on hospital and organizational (as in the case of health maintenance organizations and community pharmaciespolicy and procedures. Introduction to pharmaceutical calculations. Laboratory included.
