PrerequisiteProgram Admission The lectures and lab sessions of this course include principles and techniques in communicable diseases, stress management in EMS, traumatic injuries, abdominal illness, shock, IV maintenance, diabetes, the Central nervous system, rescue, extrication, geriatric, obstetrical, gynecological, pediatrics, environmental emergencies and hazardous materials behavioral emergencies, poisons, and substance abuse. This is a State of Michigan approved course. If all comprehensive written and practical examinations and corequisites are passed successfully the students are eligible to apply for licensure exams.
