PrerequisiteDLT 110 Primarily a study of the anatomy and morphology of the permanent human dentition will be continued throughout this course. This course will focus on anterior and posterior tooth anatomy and will also discuss basic Head and Neck Anatomy. We will discuss the basics in Osteology, Muscles of Mastication, the TMJ, Muscles of Facial expression, Soft Palate anatomy, Circulatory system of the head and neck, Salivary glands, Nervous system, and Lymphatics and spread of infection. Laboratory sessions are designed to continue to develop waxing skills for application in the crown and bridge specialty area.
